Hey there! My name’s Casey. I’m a former professional baker and cake decorator living in the land of bourbon and horse racing. I’m also a self-proclaimed coffee addict, bookworm, film buff, and animal lover. I spend most of my free time in the kitchen. It’s my happy place. I have a bit of a reputation for being blunt and, well, bitchy; hence the name.
Having grown up in a foodie family; I’ve been cooking since I could walk, food is undoubtedly one of my greatest passions. Which is probably why it surprised a lot of people that know me when I made the decision to go vegan back in August of 2016. It took a while to fully make the transition, but it’s honestly turning out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My initial hesitation to go completely vegan was mostly because, well, I’m a foodie. I didn’t want to give up all my favorite foods. Lucky for me, I’ve managed to find ways to veganize all of my favorite foods.
Now I’ve decided to start this little blog as a way of showing everyone that vegan food can be amazingly delicious.
